Ugly-Sticker Removal--Who has done?

Not to hijack the thread, but what about removing those ugly warning stickers/decals on the sun visors? On my Carreras I used denatured alcohol to get the decal off, and 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner to remove the residue. I really had to soak the stickers to loosen them, but the visors were black vinyl so it wasn't a problem. Since my BMW visors are gray fabric, my concern is they'd absorb the liquids and leave a stain that's uglier than the stickers. Anybody have luck removing them?

[/quote]Hi Stream:I checked out my sun-visor "stickers." I don't think they are stickers. If they are stickers, then I think they are on too good to try to get off. I, myself, would be completely afraid to try.

This raises the question - which stickers do you guys take off?
I've left the cling sticker on above the driver's head. I've also left the big yellow warning sticker on that's by the glovebox. I'm not planning on removing the i-drive sticker since it's instructive.
What do others think?

The only sticker I removed was the big square one on the driver's side window. I only took it off because I was getting my windows tinted. All the other one's I left since they don't really bother me.

We don't have the climate control sticker on our Euro cars, but in Hong Kong there's a sticker besides the shifter that say depress brake before shifting out of Park and Neutral. 
Why the hell you need a sticker for that, don't they teach you at driver's ed always depress the brake when doing any shifting?
And there's also a big red sticker on the side of my steering column that say warning the plastic can be explosive if it is put in the fire, please dispose of it properly. I will try to post a pic for you guys to see and the sticker doesn't come out at all, on my last E39 the sticker's colour faded after all those years and is very ugly I have to say.
