In due respect guys and girls, how about the kids just looking out the window and learning about the world they will be living in and have to cope with.

You are right bro. I am a little different then most parents I know because I try to minimize the amount of time she has with tech toys and maximize her imagination and learning. The DVD's I let her watch are baby signing time (so she can learn sign language) and your baby can read (to help her learn words). BTW, THEY BOTH WORK GREAT!!! My daughter is a 15 months old and can read about 7 different words and can sign all of the words on two different DVD's. It is awesome and she loves this stuff.
