Hey all, I wanted to know what you all thought about putting "TV's in the headrest". Do you think it will be better in the center where the lights are or... (add comment here)

Can you post your experiences with them and different types because my daughter is bored to death without here "Baby signing time" DVD.

Thanks all

Tonymac

i know some people like the t.vs in the headrest thing.. and to each his own, but have you thought about just buying the 2 set of dvd's that actually strap onto the back of the headrest? then when you park in unsafe areas, etc.. you can just unstrap them and either throw them in the trunk or your bag or take them with you. its very inexpensive now as it was back a few yeasr ago. radio shack has some good ones i know.

as one parent to another just throwing my experience out there. i mean if i had a truck or car that CAME with it, then thats a different story, but i wouldnt put the money into that personally. its nice that they get to watch t.v, but nothing id go crazy for in the car.. good luck tony and i bet your daughter got so big already!

I'd get her a 10" portable dvd player. Costs alot less and like Mel said you can store it away or take it with her anywhere she goes.

She's a little cutie, Tony. Congrats.

+1 on the portable DVD player. My friends have one for their six year old. She just puts it in her lap and loves to use the earphones (and they love it too!). Then she also can take it with her into the restaurant, etc.

Well, the consensus so far is PDVD... Looks like a wallet saver as well.

Feel free to comment some more.

Thanks

The portables are great now and very reasonable. As others have said it can be used anywhere, not just the car. They are great for plane rides, boat rides...

I'd say just wait until those portable Blu-Ray players with the OLED screens go down in price, then make your move.
