I have 35% on my Jet Black with Auburn interior 550i. I debated between 50% (legal limit in OH) and 35%. Glad I went with 35%. My brother has 20% on his Carbon Black M3, and he thinks its too dark. I do too.

check my sig (deceiving, due to some editing) and gallery, mine is 35% all around. In the sun it doesn't look too dark but at night from the outside it looks pretty dark. I think 20% might be too dark and start affecting night visability on the highway where there isn't street lights and such.

i have 20% all around. i get pulled over alot, my exterior is white and interior is black. next car ill go 30 or 35%. sick of becoming friends with this stupid cop

if u dont want any hassles from law enforcement then obvious choice is 35%..... either or both will give u the protection your seeking and will def up the car in the looks department..... for safety concerns go lighter cuz the 20% WILL obstruct vision at night especially if u reside where theres minimal street lights.... also, why would u want it too dark dont u wanna be "seen" in your 5?!!??!?!
