Dropping off the car on the 4th so well see what tips look best. I already have Eisenmann replica tips from AAA but from what I heard those tips aren't available so I'll compare and post some pics for those interested.

These are the Sebring Tuning tips that I used in my install and mentioned earlier in this thread. You can get them for less than 75 USD for the dual staggered ones.

If you guys are interested.

BanditExhaust (you can Google it) is having a good price on these Magnaflow pieces.

Magnaflow 10425 - $56.51 & free shipping
Magnaflow 11385 - $76.50 & free shipping

And for the bracket and hanger, you can go to the Parts forum on the top they offer 25% off from parts at a dealer, you just have to call.

(for my 530i)
Bracket #18307521388 - $14
Rubber Mounting #18207578238 - $13
Shipping is $9.50 (at least to 33175) - Totals to $36.50 with the shipping!

My local muffler charged me $220 for the install with the pipes and the staggered tips I showed earlier.

So I guess I can get this done just for under $500. Not bad!

Hello, iv been following this thread for a while and after talking with "west" i will be doing this setup on my 550.
You do know all his research for his setup including the dyno pulls are for the 550, which is different than the 530 set up?
i dont want to be the buzz killer but this may not be the right setup for your application?
I saw you understood the brackets and that they are different, are you sure the mufflers and magnapacks will work?
Good luck with the setup i hope it works for you!!!

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I mean. Our cars are the exact same thing, except when it comes to engine, and correct me if I'm wrong. They are both e60, the under side design is the same, the car overall is designed the same. So I would think that the same physics of engine gain/loss would apply to my car as well. Once again, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think if you use the stock piping size you should be fine. Just remember bigger doesn't necessarily mean better when it comes to an exhaust system. This is the mistake that most people make who have actually lost power.
