C, Quad_M (tony) is not bad at all. maybe on some parts he may sell more than others, but on some parts (i.e. my Hamann splitter) with paint was way cheaper than others by far (the shops wouldnt even price match what Quad_M gave me). You just need to shop around before purchasing, thats all. ![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
BTW, looks awesome. I like my Euro finisher more tho

haha, i read your first post, i guess you deleted it! Anyways, he is not a bad man and provided me good service, but to each his own. He has a good deal on mtech and m5 kits and the dealers are not matching his prices, so for those certain oem parts, he is a good deal and the paint match is perfect as referred to by other members.

Also, when you pay him the $2000 to have it painted, what are you paying to have it mounted locally? A few extra hundred bucks? Take that savings and go buy yourself a Sprint Booster or an AFE CAI.

damn under 1900? great price!!
Local paint shop = cash (no tax and they're willing to bargain, if you can negotiate).

yea most of the local moms and pops paint shops here are not that great at their paint jobs.
the only ones i trust in the OC/Socal so far Wetworks (per mikebuzzsaw), A1 (paint shop for Wheelpower), d2technik and of course the fanboy and spend most of my time there: Eurorev.
. Its not cheap, but a fair price. They dont do Mickey Mouse jobs.

Actually, he's not, but that's ok. I don't want to get into it. I can get the kit painted, mounted for under $1900 when I order the kit from Garry at BMW of Newport. I just don't think many members realize that, but it's fine.

As I said, when I bought my OEM M172 wheels from Tony back in April his price was cheaper than Crevier and Newport by a $100, but just in the last month or so I checked his prices on some non-OEM parts and was able to find a better price from another source. Now if that is just a matter of him not being able to get good prices from some vendors, or if he has raised all his prices in the last couple of months, I don't know.

C......I don't doubt what you're saying, but to be fair I want to write about my experience as well. My experience with Tony (quad_m) has been a very positive one. When I bought my M172 wheels his price was better than both Crevier BMW here in SoCal and Gary at BMW of Newport by about $100 (on 4 wheels).....this included overnight UPS shipping to me. I compared his price to BMW of Newport's price including shipping and Crevier's price including CA tax (local pick up). I have experienced nothing but top rate service from Tony. HOWEVER, I think that everyone should do their homework and compare prices everytime they buy some parts. Just because one source was cheaper on a particular part a few months ago does not mean that he will have the best prices on other parts at other times.

I remember Tony(Quad_M) did raise his prices on the M-tech kits. Not sure if he raised prices on all parts.
