trolley jack adapter

i was just wondering if when using a trolley jack to lift on the body jacking points there is an adapter that can be placed between the body and jack lifting point that fits the body location points,as on the scissor jack ,anyone encountered this ?

So let me get this straight, you're trying to mate your trolley jack adapter ?? I never dreamed of such a thing...oh well to each his own! Kind of kinky though, I'd say!

A company made these for the E36 a few years back. Not sure of the E60. I need to look to see exactly how the jack point is on my E60. A cnc/machine shop should be able to make one.

Whoever makes one ought to market them -- it would be a very handy accessory for when it comes time to do our winter/summer changeovers...

yor so right rudy ,need the exact fit ,i meant to take a copy of my hand jack before i sold the car.i forgot i had runflats on the 6er.
i gess a teflon block could be fabricated if we have measurements.to fit the body .i will look into it.just wondered if someone had thought about it earlier.
