Don't get the Goodyear asymmetrics unless you realy like tires that flat spot over night and defy balancing. They have turned my 545i sport into a moving shihatsu(sp) chair. Although they are much quieter than RFT's and handle as well or better, the vibration issues have really turned me off to these tires.

Have changed my Factory Fitted RFT's for Goodyear Asymmetric all round and absolutely no problems..... in fact, the contrast is so big that it was like getting a new car!

No flat spots, no balancing issues, no noise. Standard 18" M sport alloys.

Had to change the RFT's not because of tread wear, but because of a number of sidewall bulges - they have no 'give' and if you hit a pothole the sidewall buckles....

Falken FK452's are good value for money with plenty of grip as well, depends what you want from your replacement tyres tho ?

i have several bulges on the sidewalls... is it because of potholes??? i dont remember i hit any huge pothole..... so regular tire's sidewall is better in terms dealing with bulges...

my SA told me i might need to replace my tires because of bulges.. is it necessary? still a lot of trend left....

Yes of course, they are a sign of structural weakness in the sidewall, they could potentially blow out especially at speed, not entirely sure what causes bulges but I would maybe put some money on constantly rubbing against kerbs or running them under the correct pressure, or both

The bulges are likely to be throwing the wheel balance off at a minimum, and if you do frequent high speed trips I wouldn't take the risk of a blowout....

I tend to agree, I had GSD3's on mine and had loads of problems getting them balanced.

Great grip and ride though. Also wore down a bit to quick.

Now got PS2's and very happy with them.

Bulges in the sidewall can lead to a blowout. You must have run over potholes. I'd change them out.
