Hey guys I just went to a wheel place today with my new rims and tires for my new 04 525i E60... i got 20" Drag DC1's and width is 8.5... the tires are 255/35x20.... So anyway I go there to get them put on the guy tries the wheels... and it doesn't fit.. he says the tire is hitting the thing right under the spring it is like a metal plate right under the srping... So any suggestion on what tire size i should get for my 20's???

Your tire size is wrong. Try 245/30R20, 255/30R20, 285/25R20 or 295/25R20. These should give you appr. the same diameter wheel/tire as stock.
Also check your offsets. I have Breyton 20" wheels with 18mm offset front (9,5x20") and 26mm offset rear (11,0x20").

Comments are welcome.

I like the quiet ride of the 525 non-sport package and the standard wheels.

itis worthy to mod the wheels with a 17x7 just to give a bit of agreesive look but at the same time keep it quiet and confortable?

Thanks

See the wheel i am thinking from wheelmax.com. Some one posted the link. Sorry if I can not recall your name
