You can remove the tint and take a digital photo of it, print it at CVS, etc, and the judge will waive the fine. However, you still have to pay the surcharge which is about $35....look in the back of the ticket, it will tell you how much the surcharge is.

This is kind of late chime in..No Points, fine and surcharge can be as high as $145. I have gotten them as well as my friends.
