My Ride: Black/BlacK
I just got 2 tickets for "excessive tint" what does that mean I have to do pay a fine? or get them taken off? btw just 2 days ago I got a ticket for a stop sign and my windshield was cracked by a pebble flying off a truck! Great Week !

In Wisconsin they give you 15 days to take it off and you have to go to your local police station and have an officer sign off on it. Otherwise they send you a fine in the mail. Not sure what the current amount is. It should say what on your ticket what you need to do. Otherwise call your local police station or search the internet for the statue they wrote you up for.
Some states just warn you and if they catch you again they fine you.
Where we live the cops use window tint as an easy way to pull you over in hopes of finding some more important to write you up for or arrest you. Same with are damn front license play law.

How dark is your tint? What is the limit in NY?

my tint is 35% ny law for fronts are 70%. I'm just wondering is it just a fine or are there points? cause theres really nothing noted on the ticket. and if its a fine how much money?

Got a ticket a few months ago, They didn't make me take them off but I paid the fine of 124.00. If I get pulled over again, then I have to take 'em off. I'm located in CA, Btw.
