Hi octee:
I am glad you are here. You are making a great contribution. I like light tint. I got Huber Optik Drei Tint. It can be found on the web. It is light, but affords maximum heat and light rejection. To get an idea of its darkness, check out the Eye Candy link linked in my sig.

I really enjoy my car and forums so the fact that I can combine them both, that's just awesome in my book. I'll definitely look into the Huber Optik tint, sounds pretty neat although expensive.
Not sure if I want to spend serious money on something that I'm not really sure I'm crazy about.. ya know? Thanks Dbu and kchan for the feedback as well. In Florida, at least in Miami where I live, the cops are strict in certain areas and others just don't care, so I could probably get away with pretty much anything...
I've recently had mine tinted, E61 with different grades from front to back of 50%, 40% and 20% and it certainly improves the appearance of the car, as well as adding security and UV protection.
The car is silver grey with black interior and I've always tinted my cars it just makes it different from all the others out there. Not sure what type of tint was used but heat reflection seems good so far.
Can post pics if you want.

Here you go Octee,
Sorry about the delay in getting the pics posted. Having the black interior also helps in darkening the tint.
Looks cool at dusk and at night there is no chance you can see in.
Sorry there are a lot of reflections. I will try and take a picture when the sun is out..... probably next year now
