Hi everyone,

I'm curious to get everyone's feedback. I haven't tinted the windows of any of my cars since my first car, an 88 Honda Civic. I've always liked the clean look on my cars and have maintained all my cars tint less. I'm curious to get everyone's opinion on whether I should tint my car.... This is my car now...

What are your thoughts? What made you decide to tint or not to tint?

Btw, the sun/heat isn't a factor. My baby is parked in a garage at home and at the office all day long. Oh and can't ask my husband for his opionion, since he does the limo tints on all his cars, so I know his answer.

Please share your thoughts and opinions!

Tint. Go lighter if you dont like it dark. I think 35% is good. 50% might be a good choice for you...

Sure do it,
it look great on dark cars.

I've done it on mine and I must say I was a bit hesitating at first but it turned out
to be a good choice.
I think I have 35% (default bmw in our country)

Thanks EBMCS03, why tint though? Do you think it just looks better that way?

Thanks xtype, do you have pics of your car? I'd like to get an idea what 35% looks like.

I did tint my silver grey 5 using 50% Huber Optik ceramic tint. It does darken the windows but not too dark. And for those of us in hot climates, the heat reduction is the real benefit.

Thanks BERM and kscarrol. The issue I'm having is that the car is that deep blue.. what color tints will go with that?

As far as the heat, I only feel it in very limited spurts...

I second this. Do a 50% tint.
