In the USA? sounds dangerous / not to mention the law frowns on it.

Non-metallic tint films are generally known for fading over the lifetime.? This is because the tint color comes from dyes which are broken down by ultraviolet light over time.

Ceramic and Metallic films are of higher quality, for the most part.? They do not rely on such dyes which can break-down.

That being said, window tint will not affect your radio or navigation reception on an E60.? So get high-quality tint.
so, i dont need to worry about the reception blocking on myE60!?
but Ceramic andMetallic filmsare better choices lol?

Yes... I live in the USA.

It is not dangerous. In fact, it is actually safer with tint on front..... but the gay ass law is against it.

With tinted front window I am able to see far better. Especially at nighttime. Headlights from other cars do not affect you as badly.

As for the legality.... it is hard to get caught. I got pulled over many times in several of my old cars that all had illegal tint. Never once did I get in trouble. The trick is to roll down your windows and turn on the interior lights before the cop walks up to your car. Once there, he rarely looks at the front window.

It is very easy to get away with..... unless you live in a state that has vehicle inspection.

My 60 year old mother even had her front windshield tinted completly after she saw my car. She liked it so much, she made me get it done to her car.

Cops generally do not drive around with window tint on the brain.

They mostly are thinking about donuts, and getting laid.

When you get pulled over, the cops are behind you. They almost never look at the front window. In fact, if you have the right kind of tint then it is hard to even tell the window is tinted, even if you can't see through it from the outside. It will look like sunlight glare.
