Time for front rotors/pads- Which ones?

question for all with aftermarket rotors/pads...

I'm told that they make more noise than OEM. Is this true? What has been your experience. Thanks.

VERY untrue, the OEM brakes squeal like a stuck pig with the slightest amount of dust. That is the MAIN reason I upgraded to the R1's with Hawk pads - great bite and braking performance, low dust, NO noise. I got so tired of my car sounding like an '82 Chevy Cavalier every time I hit the brakes. The OEM brakes suck

So true!... I can't wait to wear out these OEM squeakers and order me the R1/Hawk set
