'05 545 sport package. Need to replace front rotors and pads.. was thinking about getting drilled/slotted rotors and low dust pads. I checked out ebay and found tons of options but very worried about the quality. Back when I had an E39 M5 Zeckhausen was a popular place to get brake parts but its been a while. Any recommendations?

R1 Concept Rotors and Hawk HPS Pads. Very common package that people buy from me on this forum.

Bought those a year ago. 15k miles with no issues so far. The R1/Hawk combo is good too.

Ben - Just two questions. On the pads, how are they at keeping the black brake dust to a minimum?

On the slotted rotors how and why do they make your car run upside down? Thanks.

I have Zimmerman sport drilled discs (http://www.otto-zimmermann.de/index.php5?Itemid=123)
and EBC yellowstuff pads (http://www.ebcbrakes.com/automotive/...ads_4000.shtml)

These have been fantastic! I did the proper braking procedure to bed them in and since then they've proved on many occasion to stop hard!

Does this mean lots of dust or low dust?

I have minimal dust. I had stock pads on before and it was TERRIBLE. These have held up quite well and keep the rims much cleaner than before.

Haha I have no idea why it shows up upside down. It's correct when I open up the file on my computer but loads weirdly on the forum.
