Thanks for all the positive comments and encouragement guys! I can't wait to get this done but Bimmersport can't fit me in for install and tuning until this Thursday. I should have the car back on Thursday night. I'm also in the process of ordering the RPI exhaust system. Shipping costs from California on this is crazy. Hopefully I will have a solution soon.

I don't think this is designed for his 07 525xi.

The exhaust sounds great, great choice going with the RPI exhaust.

Thank you Georgieb! You've made this 525Xi owner very happy and excited to hear about this mod, I'm honestly very anxious to hear more and hoping your mod will be successful, being in Edmonton and about 3 days drive to TDot, I will make the trip to get this done!

That sounds like a worthy road trip, I'm thinking the same! I'm in Winnipeg so it would be a 2 day drive only

Hey guys,
I guess patience is a virtue. The manifold and associated hardware is completely installed and the mechanical portion is now complete. Unfortunately at 3:30 pm this afternoon we still did not have the ECU re-map and tune from Active Autowerke. We should have everything complete tomorrow. Don't worry I'll post as soon as I have a chance to and once I pick the car up.

I have not yet ordered the RPI exhaust but should be able to take care of that early next week. Fingers crossed that everything works out!
