I am thinking about getting m5 replica wheels but I'm not sure about the build quality of replica wheels and whether or not I should purchase replicas. Thanks

DON'T DO IT! The M5 reps are especially bad in quality. The last thing anyone needs is to risk a terrible ride with cheap rims.

+1! If you want good reps you can't go wrong with Miro style 167's or Any of the VMR wheels. But don't get the Miro CSL reps as they have poor paint quality that has been known to peel.

If you want a first hand information from a former owner of miro m6 replicas then you can pm me.

i had 20x9 fronts and 20x10 rears with offsets of et 20 and et25. I can answer any question you will have about miro's.

Stay away from replicas.
If you do a search here, you will find a great percentage of people have had vibration problems.
I bought M5 replicas, and they vibrated like crazy. Then I bought OEMs.
The overall cost of the replicas, hubcentric spacers, multiple balancings to try to get things right = $1200.
If you get replicas, at least try to get some that are 72.56 mm inner bore. These fit on the 5-series.

Well made high quality wheels are a big part of a BMW's ride, handling, road noise etc

Stay away from reps, they mostly suck and when you get bad ones it's aggravating as hell trying to sort out the vibration issues. Not to mention the time an money spent trying to get it right.

Based on what I've read here for almost two years I would not buy replicas. It seems like Miro and VMR may be the exception, but unless the styles they offer suit you, I would avoid them. 2 cents.
