My Ride: 2007 530i White/Dakota leather, sport package, nav,
Hey Guy's Just ordered some MRR Gt1 In Black In the following size
Tire Size: 245/35/20ZR front, 275/30/20ZR Rear
Are they going to rub on a 530i with sport package?

My Ride: F13 M6
it may rub. usual recommended tire sizes are 245/30/20 in front and 275/25/20 in rear, but we usually recommend the thicker sidewalls for more rim protection, especially if your e60 is a daily driver. if anything you would need to have the fenders rolled and/or cut, a number of members with 20s or larger have gone this route. btw, PM sent

So are the ones I ordered thicker or thinner? I do use it as a daily driver. the higher the number is thicker? 25 (thinner) 35 (thicker?}

As long as your car is not slammed, it will not rub.
245-35-20 and 275-30-20 will give you a decent amount of sidewall.
Here is a pic of 20x8.5 and 20x10 with a 245-35-20 and 275-30-20 setup, lowered with H&R sport srpings, and its not rubbing.
Here is a pic of another one with the same setup at stock height.

Curious. What is the attraction/advantage larger wheels?

Personal preference. I personally cant leave any of my cars stock. I think it just looks better when the wheel and tire package is plus sized to suit the car properly. I end up lowering all my cars just to get rid of the fender gap. I just think a car looks "finsihed" when its lowered on a nice sized wheel and tire package.
