I went to home depot to get some braces to mount the box in the trunk and they did not have any U set braces so i had to make them using 2 L braces held together by hex bolts. They needed to be significantly large because since the box would be hanging and vibrating it needed to be very sturdy in order to be secure to the trunk. this is what i came up with and it works perfect. In fact it almost worked too good. Because the box is ported hanging it in this position allows for wayyyyyyy more air to be disbursed and it is 5 times as loud as it was when the box was on the ground. i had to turn allll the settings all the way down on my gear so i dont get too much base. Now i have to paint the brackets and i think thats it.

Thanks to Technic's nifty plug and play harness set up was pretty simple and went pretty smooth (running the wires was a pain), only took about 5 hours or so and took almost no room so i can fit my clubs in there still with no problem. The box is only 5 inches deep so i only lost about half of a foot of trunk space which was key for me. Next step will be to get another amp to plug into the the harness for the subs under the seat but im very impressed with the sound difference for now and honestly i will buy JL for the rest of my life i really love their products.
Very glad that the harness really helped you...
