Hey E60 got Lip,

Don't the 20 inch wheels slow you down? I am about to buy a 525iT, but I would think the car would be a lot more sluggish with such large wheels. Looks great however.

Depending on what type of metal the wheels are made out of, most highend wheels like GOT LIP's are made of forged aluminum alloy which is very light. You know the saying "you get what you pay for" the cheaper the wheels the heavier they usually are. So size has a very little factor in weight.

The car slowed down significantly even though they're pretty light, but it was slow to begin with anyways. Besides, it looks bad ass...

Hi JG996,

What 20" PS2 setup do you have? My current PS2 are 255/30/20 (F) 295/25/20 ? and they are rubbing pretty badly. I have rolled the fenders and installed KW V2 suspesions kit to 'stiffen' the springs... but still rubbing.

TIA!

My 20" set up required fender rolling, twice. I have the PS2s but have heard the tires with a more rounded shoulder will reduce the chances of rubbing. I had a local performance shop do the rolling and and very pleased with the results.

Hi 520d

1) The R10's rub against the wheel arch with just me driving it at freeway speed (~70 MPH) over uneven road (i.e. dips), with 2 people or more... it's game over
2) The wheels are Radenergie R10 20" 20x8.5 (F) and 20x10 (R
3) Dropped about 1" w/ KW V2 suspension kit and stiffen the shocks to 85%
4) I don't know what the offsets are for the R10 (hope forums member can help with this)

Freedom--contacts fender in the F or the R?

Those of you with these setups, are you using the 255/30, or the 245/35? I would think the 245 would be a bit easier to manage, but the Michelin guide shows the 255 to be dead on to the OE size..

Mine does not rub at all after rolling the fenders. Well, it is not exactly rolling the fenders, what i did was just hammering the inner part of the fender. It will not do any damage to the fenders at all.. I can't exactly explain the part where i hammered but i may post a picture up on the part where i hammered once my computer is being serviced.
Hello What offset do you have on your wheels ? Do you have H&R sport or racing springs?

Mine rarely rubs, only when hitting huge dips and or driveways at a high rate of speed. With everyday driving, I do not rub. Then again I am not lowered and do not have the sport package
