Now on topic - the guy replied because he didn't wanna register and here is what I got:
"ESS guys are professionals. They helped me to upgrade my M54B25 to M54B30 and currently I am running my 525i with 3.0l 350 hp (8psi)
Should you go for ESS, my advise is to go for the intercooler stage 2 - a bit more expensive but much more secure in terms of getting your hp in hot weather.
Support is very good, but guys are technical so pls do not get offended for short answers (though very professional)
The car behaves same while cruising but when I push on the throttle it gets wild. I am considering now to buy a Quife diff to make it more responsive Smile
All in all I am happy with my ESS kit but having in mind the cost it might be better to consider replacing your car with 545i (that is up to the personal choice)
And one last thing - should you contact them - pls, do send them my gratefull regards (from Alex Kolev from Sofia)"
On the LSD part - that is my next upgrade. I can give you some information from what I've gathered from them or you can wait until I have it

Just watch your gearbox, one of the lads across at E46 forums supercharged his auto 330Ci, blew the gearbox to peices a couple of times, that was on a mild tune as well.

I remember there was a GROUP BUY few weeks ago for a Supercharger (Active Autowerke) for M54 engines ONLY! If your 530i has that engine (not N54), it is the candidate to get it.
Here you go: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=72484&st=0
or contact dbpack
BTW it was $4400 the kit.

if it really costs $6300.. i wonder - wouldn't it be cheaper to trade you car for 545 or 550? they have 330-360 HP stock
especially now, when used 530 and 545 actually cost the same price. plus u get a lot more options

(and I thought about it too..535i has 300hp already)
and it is not just 6300 as I got a quote:
5900 (the kit) + 1500 (install) !!!
![Frown](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/sad.gif)
it is just too expensive...
