I have these wheels and thinking about plastidipping them as well. Any update on how it's wearing? Would love to see some pics with better lighting

Been super busy lately with work, paired with a lot of out of town trips, I haven't had a chance to get on here much. I actually just yesterday peeled off the plastdip from these wheels. I'm amazed at how well it held up. When it peels off, it comes off like a latex/rubber....peels like a sticker almost. A little "goo-gone" to clean up some missed spots, and the rims look stock again.
If I had to do it again, I would do like mentioned above....go a bit thicker with the coats of plastidip. Simply for removal purposes....it would peel off much better. Even so, it only took me about 10-15 minutes per wheel to remove it.
Got a ton of compliments, a lot of people thought I had gotten new wheels completely
The car goes in for some body work this week...got hit (AGAIN) a couple weeks back, and just on Saturday I dropped my car off jacks while removing the rear tires.
messed up my side skirts....so new m5 rep side skirts are in my future.
