Did you sand the wheels with 1000 grit to ensure a good bite?

No need with plasti dip. It is rubber, not a paint.

So am I, man. So am I. From the sounds of it and just based on looking around a bit, it holds up well until an edge lifts. I have an unlimited car wash pass at a gas station around here, touchless wash, that I run through 4 or 5 times a week, especially in the winter just to keep the salt off. I'm curious to see how it'll do with that. I could see it starting to peel. BUT, jay8s here says that it holds up in touchless washes, so we'll see! Better pictures coming tomorrow, it was dark here by the time I was done working on it. Had to change brake pads as well. Had a brain fart, and pulled the pad off without disconnecting the wear sensor. So.....now I need to pick up a new sensor line and install that tomorrow. stupid stupid stupid

Another tip for this DIY ...use a deck of playing cards around the rim when its laying flat on the ground.

It turned out really great. Great job! Wonder how it would be to paint over platidip. I've read some don't advice it, while others have tried it with success.

I also used 1 can to do the whole shadow line, and 1 can per wheel. Mine is way thicker than yours is, and I have not had a problem. YMMV.
