My Ride: 2009 DINAN 135 convertible
I bought a dash trim piece (the long one across the top) off Ebay for $10. It said it was cracked, but according to the seller, it is likely just a surface scratch. Anyway, I thought I would use this piece to try out a new color on the interior, and then, if I like it, take off my exisiting trim and have it matched.
My car is silver exterior w/black interior. I currently have the dark poplar trim (I think it's poplar). I think piano black would be too much black and too boring. I have thought about doing it to match the exterior silver. I also really liked the rose-colored metallic look that someone had on here recently. Anyone do copper? dark grey? blue? (those all may be ugly, but I am just looking for something different).
any thoughts/suggestions/pics?
[EDIT/UPDATE]
Here is what I have done so far with the spare part I purchased. Not bad in my opinion for a first timer with a couple cans of spray paint. I can't wait to fit it just to see how it looks. If I decide to keep, I may have it professionally retouched or refinished. This is just my first attempt to see how it would look.

+1 for that rose metallic posted a few months ago, that look'd good. Brushed aluminum would look nice IMO. Silver ext. with a copper trim int. would look kinda weird. Not sure about the blue trim with black interior either. Interested in seeing what other members will chime in with...GL
