It's late so I'll keep it simple, I'll elaborate more in the morning. As the topic states I managed to retrofit Euro spec non-adaptive bi-xenon headlights to my E60. I must say it was a very difficult job to do, took me an entire day of troubleshooting A LOT of issues associated with it (wiring harness/load/flickering/low voltage/LCM issues etc etc) and the rain did not help. It was well worth the effort. From the day I picked up my E60 I always felt something was missing..I've been researching ever since and it payed off
With the help of this great forum
and tons of help from my father who happens to be an EE
I purchased the headlights from Rodybmw (thx again rody) on friday. Pictured below:

The end result (sorry for the poor quality images, it was a rainy day):

Many thanks to xrsxj, he pointed me in the right direction.
I'll take some day time pics in the morning.

Total cost was 700.00 for the headlights. I had all the necessary connectors/butt splices/tap-ins needed to complete the project.

Busta,
You meant including ballast, igniter, bulb and headlight housing?

The seller is a member of these forums. He purchased them some time ago, he wasn't able to use them as they do not have the adaptive feature.

Busta
I hope you are enjoying your new lights.
I have a question: When you select high beams, do the inside headlights come on, or are they dark like US Bi-Xenon Headlights?
Tnx
