Hi E60 owners!
I have a question for you: has anybody bought or tried an E60 with the sprintbooster module ?

Impressions, opinions ?

Bye!

That's the module for the throttle sensitivity right?

If yes it's been discussed on the forum and as i recall the overall conclusion is that it wasn't worth it. Also it's been explained how it works and the fact that it's a wizardry, nothing that really improves the performance.

I know what it is . I'm wondering if I can obtain the same result with a new map, with throttle response enhanced .

Ok, thank you
Any news from FDR ?

Today I tried the Audi R8 ... Wonderful car: the engine is only a little more powerful than a tuned 545i, the weigh is similar .. but it seems to go very faster than my 5 (due, most of all, to the gears, imho) .
But it has an incredible throttle response too!

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front. Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.

Got it in my car, I like it =)
It does make the throttle more sensitive, and since I got a manual, there are occassions in which I rev up a little higher during 1st gear launch (maybe I got tired and didn't release the clutch fast enough)
I have a 525i and will highly recommend it, the stock throttle is just too insensitive...
It does feel faster, although I couldn't do any pre and post launch times. It's relatively cheap with this mod so I say give it a try.
Even if you don't like it, resell it and your loss is minimal.

VT, let me know how you like the sprintbooster. Also, you gotta give us the scoop on the differential mod. Btw, when does carlab change their name to sonicms?

Ok, I will wait for VT impressions and I will decide
Do you know if I could obtain the same throttle response from a new map ?
