i am more a sideway person ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
when I moved my foot from the brakes to the gas, the extra push from the sb caused the front to lift a bit and some understeer as a result.
might be I can try to put my foot on the gas a little later to see if I can kick the back out instead, if my friends let me take another drive in their cars.

that's why i didn't buy one yet.. i wonder if this also increases gas milage, since you constantly pressing the pedal harder.
i want to try one.. but i wonder. is it possible to ride slowly (cruise in the neiborhood on 1000-1500 rpm) or it will make it hard to control?

There have been a TON of Sprint Booster posts recently with a TON of bad information.
Here is an in-depth write-up to help clear some things up.
Article -> http://www.crosslake.net/~dbipes/sprintboo...rintBooster.pdf
A good/brief summary of the article from SchwarzeEwigkt on Bimmerfest:
"Read it for the in depth stuff, but the short of it is that the Sprint Booster is a little amplifier, nothing more. It increases the signal from the pedal box by about 30%, meaning that the ECU thinks you're pressing the pedal about 30% harder than you really are. You're effectively using a megaphone to make your will known to the committee.
This would definitely make the throttle feel more responsive since you're making a smaller amount of right hoof count for more, but know this:
For 300 bones, you get:
* A pedal that feels more responsive because the gain has been turned up,
* A pedal where the top third of the range of motion doesn't do anything since you've multiplied the signal by 30% and max it out by 2/3 throttle,
* And, the kicker, the same thing you would have gotten if you pressed the pedal a bit harder."

Makes sense but I'm still keeping mine in. Love it! Just makes the car more lively and takes away some throttle lag. I rarely visit the last 1/3 of the gas pedal anyway...

There is sooooo much information in this Forum of ours.
But time after time this question of "is this SB worth it? Does it do anything?" always comes up.
I"m not a car tech, I'm not a BMW certified mech, I really don't know that much about alot of stuff.
But what I DO know is that when you do this mod, your fun factor goes up when you drive your car.
Regurlar drive, Sport drive, it's all diffrent once you put the SB in your ride.
So thanks to those that keep this tech info coming in, the boards are a better place with the more data we have.
I for one just use my butt dyno, and I know what I like when I see it.
My 2 cents.....
Buy it, install it, and enjoy it.

dont worry so much about gas mileage. if you get 19 vs 24mpg whats the real difference at the end of the year?....not that much

well .... without sb... it feels like i was driving my 03 accord v6 with intake and exhaust after you get used to drive with SB....
SB is like drug.... i cannot stop having it on my car... i put sb on other cars as well.
