I had test driven the 530D while making the booking, as the dealer didnt have the 520d as a TD car. Now with the SB, i dont feel any difference in the 530d Stock, and my 520d+SB!
How can you say that when the SB doesn't make any difference to the engine, only throttle mapping/sensitivity.
From what I understand, it's like putting a quick action throttle on a motorbike. Just means the throttle responds quicker to less input.

So, does anyone have an SB on a diesel auto. I'm thinking of getting an SB but I'm worried that it will make the auto drop down gears with only the slightest press on the pedal. Having a diesel, it would be better to use the torque rather than drop down gears and get too high on the revs. If anyone has any experience of an auto diesel (preferably a 530D) with an SB fitted then please let me know.

OK, I HATE the accelerator lag on my recently purchased '04 545i and I am relieved to know it's not just mine... and even to have happier to have found a solution. I have only had my car for a month and have only made 1 payment but I can't stop spending money that I don't have on mods! I love and hate this forum! After a few glasses of Crown Royal last night I ordered a Sprint Booster from cksperformance on e-bay for about $250 shipped from the UK. I forgot to mention auto/manual in my purchase request and received an e-mail request from "Chet" at cks asking me to please verify tranny type so they could send the appropriate booster. I will post a review once received. I just spent $800 this weekend on my first tatoo and my fiancee is about to pack up and move out. Now I have the tatoo bug too. She told me I need to pick a hobby, the car... or tatoos. I can't pick, I think she might have to go, 6 years... what do ya think? Drinkin and E60... Expensive, Drinkin and South Beach Tatoo... Painful, Drinkin and detailin' your BMW at 1 in the morning cause you drunk and love your car... Priceless!

Just so you guys know. I am on this forum ALL the time, but I rarely post. Just trying to read and absorb as much as possible. Most of my questions are answered through the "search" function so I rarely post a question. Not to get too sentimental but... "I Love You Guys",... or not, she might leave, anyone in Broward County Florida that might need a roommate?

Mate, i have the SB on my 520D Auto, sorry if u thought i had it on my manual. Works like a charm in it.

I meant that the stock acceleration power of the 530d, is now at par with my 520d with the SB increasing its acceleration.
hope u got that.
And it doesnt drop down or up gears other than what its supposed to. boosts acceleration basically.
