My Ride: 530D Touring
wow.
Just been playing. I now get sport in the dash but still only DS mode.
Paddles update didn't work on the EGS.
And I have no rev counter now.
All in all. I'm happy. Car still runs and stuff has changed.
Didn't have any Daten files to update the EGS with so waiting for them to download then I update that tomorrow night. And hopefully not brick the car...

My Ride: E61 LCI 530i
Looking through GKE215.ATS I don't see your Production code PX72 (your car) in the file for either 205 or 2TB
If you go in to INPA and select E60 Functional Jobs, I think one of the screens shows which version of firmware you currently have loaded.
Would be interesting to know what you have as your car is a 530D

I can do that later.
I had to fully reinstall the coding stuff for my laptop as it was super glitchy and I didn;t want to start important jobs with a less that stable machine.
Didn;t really get started till about 10pm
But I've got all the E60 SP daten files now so I can bash those into the laptop and try to recode the GKE tonight. See if that fixes some issues.

File GKE195.ATS contains PX72
And shows:
PX72;;2TB;7592130;SE
PX72;;205;7592132;SE
So, should you really be using GKE195 ?
For sure you would expect gear change points to be very different on a diesel to a petrol.
If you run INPA E60 select "Functional jobs" then UIF does it show a ZB No. for the EGS ?

Same file. So that's the one I'll be using
It's so annoying that my internet it 7x faster than it is at work so I can only go through files and look stuff up at home.

OMG. How nerve wracking was that!!
It's done and now getting superfast changes from the gearbox.
Paddles still not working and they're coded correctly so I can only assume that I've wired them wrong. Which is possible. Although it's happy to stay in DS or Manual mode..
Rev counter works again too.
I've got other stuff to do for a while and I need a cup of tea and a piece of cake to celebrate..
