The weather was nice and sunny here today so I went ahead and did it and have shared pictures with Bert via PM. It looked bad in the DIY but in reality didn't take much more than 20 mins to open up, photograph and close up again.
I look forward to Bert's reaction and sharing of relevant pics, if indeed any? I found that the black plug appeared to have a white wire added to slot 11 and also noted that slot 10 was empty while slot 12 was occupied and I hope this is useful information.

During Easter I made a trip on the German autobahn... Got to test out whether the tranny upshifts to 6th when in sport or DS. It does, in both modes. On my car at around 210 kp/h if accelerating lightly or lifting off the throttle.
Have also clearly noted the adaptive behavior of the tranny, as it used to upshift at about 1.600 rpm under light throttle in normal. After some spirited high speed driving, it now upshifts at 1.900 rpm instead.

Matthias,
Bert in Germany is working on installing wires himself and we have a lot of PM's about this so if you'll hold out just a little while longer, I'm sure there will be a full description with pictures.
As there are now members here who can do the coding; you have perceptively zeroed in on the last bit of outstanding DIY we haven't covered here yet.
