yea it would be full acceleration in a top gear probably 5th for example on a manual car. Gas pedal down fully, throttle body blades opened as far as they can go, injectors at peak flow, velvet ropes par and champagne falls from the skies lol

Sidenote..I bet you the Charcol filters are for California cars. Owwo being from texas doesnt have our CARB issues(not yet)

I'd also recommend taking out the charcoal filter and replacing the stock air filter with a BMC or K&N drop in filter. There's a new filter that just came on the market for the 335i's called Streamline by Helene Performance, but as of yet, they're not producing any for our e60's.
EDIT: I just got a reply from Blaine of Helene Performance and unfortunately they are not going to manufacture any Streamline filters for our e60's. Guess the BMC drop-in air filters are the best way to go now.

525iEnjoy, that's probably it. We def don't have the higher emission standards here that the Cali guys do.

Back to the topic... I have both the SB and the SSTT installed (just got the SSTT today) and it's amazing! I got the SSTT from r1racer and just installed it and man it's quick! I definitely recommend it.

You should try removing the SB; drive it with the SSTT and reinstalling the SB to see if you still notice any differences.

Pop her on the dyno, to compare SSTT hp/tq gains to the 335i and 135i boys.

335i Dynojet

Stock - 280 whp and 294 wheel torque

SSTT only - 305 whp and 332 wheel torque

I've had the SB since December, so I know the SSTT is doing a lot.

I meant to see if you can feel any difference with the SB.

Hmm I could try it but the SB and SSTT do completely different things. If you step on the gas without the SB even with the SSTT there will still be throttle lag. The SSTT isn't noticeable until the turbos kick in which is well after the SB has done its job.

That's right. Nevermind. I keep thinking of the SSTT as if it was a software remap where the throttle response would also be improved. Thanks for the reminder/clarification.

I would love to see what the $2,000 Dinan upgrade would do. It adds 90HP, I believe. When I'm done with all the upgrades I might as well have bought an M5 I'm trying to pace myself LOL
