My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i, Titanium Silver. Bridgestone 760s on Weds Bavaria II 18" wheels, standard sport pack size. Sport, AT. Latest job - NGK Iridium IX plugs installed.

started doing thid and lo and behold the screws holding the 'ignition coil clamp' is an inverted torx on my 5. guess i'll have to go drive out to get one...and take this up again tomorrow morning.

yes, I had changed the spark plugs about 6 times in 2 years ....

Here is my conclusion (obviously IMO)


1) OEM (my car was using NGK same as described above): Good, pure OEM.
2) Pulstar (not sure about gains as they described but yes it saves the fuel mileage but a bit and feel same as OEM)
3) BOSCH IR Fusion (I tested both OEM and this to compare): Hands down! the car kick much better and faster.

In the next month I will test 2 new products: NGK Iridium and LSM Brisk.

hows ur car doing miguel?

I rememebr this post. I said I was going to change spark plugs this summer. LOL. never dod.

Yes, it takes time... probably for after this winter. I promise I will post my project when everything is taking in action and properly R&D.... I am taking lots of pictures already. I am sure you will be excited!
The project is not easy you know.

I see than us uses NKG but in HK we all use Bosch Platinum+4 spark plugs

you guys are so lucky that only cost 75 for 8 in HK they cost over 10 each
