Nice job guys, I was wondering if I can get the 4 pipe setup from a 645i and throw it on my 545. I just like the look of 4 exhaust pipes. Anyone you know try that yet?

The B+B sounds cooler here, but I've got a feeling that's going to get pretty boomy after an hour or two. Also, my only previous experience with thier product did not have the best quality. The eisenmann's that I have tried have been superb quality. Yes, not quite as loud, at least at first. Wonder how many miles are on these two mufflers?

They both had a high quality look and finish, but the B&B visually looked like it was of slightly higher quality then the Eisenmann. Believe me, after seeing the Eisenmann the week before I sort of had it in my mind that I was not going to like the B&B and was going to buy the Eisenmann, but decided to see it just for the heck of it (since I was going to be in ch7656's neighborhood anyways). Seeing and hearing it in person changed my mind.

Rody,

Did you order your B&B? Seems like you have your mind set.

Also, does the Eisenmann and B&B exhaust start after the catalytic converter? Or is it just a muffler and tip replacement?

Thanks.

You posted that you've had the B&B now for about 7,000 miles.
Have you noticed if the tone has changed any?

By the way, great sounding exhaust note, especially at the low end range. I love the loping sound it makes at idle too. Reminds me of the days I use to work on rotary motors for Mazda RX 3's and 4's.
