Nice job guys, I was wondering if I can get the 4 pipe setup from a 645i and throw it on my 545. I just like the look of 4 exhaust pipes. Anyone you know try that yet?

The B+B sounds cooler here, but I've got a feeling that's going to get pretty boomy after an hour or two. Also, my only previous experience with thier product did not have the best quality. The eisenmann's that I have tried have been superb quality. Yes, not quite as loud, at least at first. Wonder how many miles are on these two mufflers?

about 7k so far...only boomy below 2k...above 2k no problems and never a complaint...16 month old, 4 year old and wifey can all sleep fine (or watch a movie) in the car while I'm driving

They both had a high quality look and finish, but the B&B visually looked like it was of slightly higher quality then the Eisenmann. Believe me, after seeing the Eisenmann the week before I sort of had it in my mind that I was not going to like the B&B and was going to buy the Eisenmann, but decided to see it just for the heck of it (since I was going to be in ch7656's neighborhood anyways). Seeing and hearing it in person changed my mind.

Did you order your B&B? Seems like you have your mind set.

Also, does the Eisenmann and B&B exhaust start after the catalytic converter? Or is it just a muffler and tip replacement?

Thanks.

You posted that you've had the B&B now for about 7,000 miles.
Have you noticed if the tone has changed any?

By the way, great sounding exhaust note, especially at the low end range. I love the loping sound it makes at idle too. Reminds me of the days I use to work on rotary motors for Mazda RX 3's and 4's.
