A buddy of mine used this stuff on his Mini. He even plast-dip'd his wheels. It seem pretty durable but it is peeling off his door handles. Don't know if its because of the prep job, but it hasn't peeled anywhere else.

wipe down with alcohol is all u need. I might try it on....i dunno. mebbe some of the chrome trim on my Allroad. my E60 is TOTALLY DECHROMED!
