We were at this once again HUGE E60 meet
at FBF. Came across Igor and saw his car with blacked out emblems. He told me about plasti dip. A nice paint called plastidip. Mask the area off with masking tape and put some oil or wax at the areas hard to mask. Spray it on and the plastidip should come off easily on areas that u have waxed. It comes off factory paint easily as long as ur car has been taken care off and doesnt feel like sandpaper.

I'm planning on doing this soon for my trim. Probably buy it tomorrow and apply.. Will post pics when done.

A buddy of mine used this stuff on his Mini. He even plast-dip'd his wheels. It seem pretty durable but it is peeling off his door handles. Don't know if its because of the prep job, but it hasn't peeled anywhere else.
