Firstly, I'll try to modify the stock housing for the courtesy lights under the doors to fit 18 SMD LED panels in there. Cost is far cheaper than the GP Thunder modded ones. Whoever wants the maximum brightness for about $60 for all 4 lights instead of paying OVER $60 for ONE light should pay attention to this thread. I have an idea on what to do but there's no turning back after modding it.

Secondly, LED License Plate Lamp 18-LED license plate lamps. Price should go for $65 shipped and I may have introductory GB pricing!!! These are the RDASH ones that comes with housings guaranteed no errors EVER with big built-in resistors. Also have application for the E63 and E64 for slightly higher pricing. Should cost about $75 shipped for E63 and E64.

More info on these when they come in. Definitely will post pix! Monday will be the courtesy door lights and Tuesday should be the license plate LED Lamps

Well count me in for the RDASH LED license plate LEDs. The brighter, the better.

They had been advertised here before but everyone has overlooked at it due to the price! It's just too crazy. I cant justify putting in $320 so it looks bright under my doors. If I hang FOUR twenty dollar bills under the door, I think it will looks even nicer. I'll pay $60 to get the extreme brightness though.

I am using their SAME EXACT 18-SMD LED panel. If you DIY, you get the SAME EXACT results. Trust me. It's so easy it took me 5 minutes per door. I'll take pix of it from the car soon. As MANY of you know I cant take pix of my own car....

Parts Needed - My four 18-SMD LED panels, your own housing, and some 3M double sided tape.

Those are bright. If you used like 15 or even 12 SMD LED panel, would it fit better without cutting the plastic?

Unfortunately, you'll have to cut the plastic. 15 or 12 LED panels does not fit. Plus you want the maximum brightness anyway! I just took pliers and broke it off. It was quick. No need for crazy modding.

And then I decided to use it as a flashlight in my pitch black bedroom!

Do you mean the puddle lights for our mirrors? It already has a few SMD LEDs from factory. Unless you wanna open it apart, solder more LEDs onto it.
