Do you mean the puddle lights for our mirrors? It already has a few SMD LEDs from factory. Unless you wanna open it apart, solder more LEDs onto it.

if it aint broken...UPGRADE IT!!!!


btw, got my adaptor for the headlight from Bruce. Will start ripping apart the factory headlight cable and go crazy....omigod. WTF am i doing now? LOL

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

Unfortunately, you'll have to cut the plastic. 15 or 12 LED panels does not fit. Plus you want the maximum brightness anyway! I just took pliers and broke it off. It was quick. No need for crazy modding.

And then I decided to use it as a flashlight in my pitch black bedroom!

Thanks John. I just thought the other panels might be smaller and fit better. Great job BTW.

bro let me know know how it goes with the headlight btw i still have to go over there to buy those reverse led's i want to see that headlight when you done with it thought =]

Nice, John...

You know what I was thinking about doing ..Changing all of the LEDS from orange to white inside the car.. Inside all buttoms and switches... I know its alot of work.. but i think it would look good..

Well actually, I was planning to do the LEDS for our buttons. like the AC button, seat heater button, all random buttons. The ambient lighting, I was thinking about changing, but i figured, BMW is perfect for that lighting, so i left it alone.

I'm also going to do the M5 cluster thing too. I have all the LEDS, just haven't had time to do it. =)
