you were the #2 guy on the M5 list?

I have this problem...its called "Cannot leave well enough alone" I ordered the full ACS package for my 545 including the mirrors last week...of course they are on a container somewhere ready to be sunk by a U-Boat still prowling the seas...

But I am getting a M5, I can always part the car out once it arrives...but until recently I thought I would buy the M5 and sell it since I was just not sold on this car...I am now so the M5 is staying once bought.

BTW My dealer has been telling me with my options around 92K, its the freaking Euro that is killing us here in the States! Back on target...it will be at least 7 months or longer till I can order..they said Feb, now April today add 3 months and its next summer before I am driving it.

BTW I put 10K down at the dealer...5 months ago and skipped 12 people who had no deposits....dealers understand only money. The number 1 guy is a Pro-Football player who paid for the entire car in advance.

ForceRT,

If I were you, and oh from a car standpoint do I wish I were, I would keep the 545 stock knowing that I have an M5 coming. You will not get back what you put out on the 545 additions, and even if you part the car before turning it in, you still have to go through the hassle. I am assuming you have the 545 sport, which IMO is nice as it is. If you know the M5 is coming, don't do it.

With all that said, it seems you have the funds to do whatever you like, so if mods will get you through until the M5 comes and you can take the hassle and loss, go for it.

Either way, save the $$$ and use it towards tires, mods, etc. on the M5. Your 545 is a depreciating asset. It may seem like a long time until the m5 comes but it will be sooner than you think!!

Ohh dont be so pessimistic about your boat being sunk by U-Boats. Hmm but there are shoals out there. Anyone remember the Tricolor which sunk with BMWs, Volvos, and others. Glad I wasn't one of the owners. So your boat will not be sunk by a U-Boat (probably). It may sink by other means though.. LOL just kidding. YOu will get your car and love it.

Once that car has been loaded I am thinking of having a carrier battle group protect that ship across the Atlantic!

Another idea would be to mod the 545 and just sell it at a loss to my best friend who loves it but has an ex-wife to deal with.....

I am really thinking the M5 can really compliment my M3, if you only knew how I felt about this E60 design as little as 3 months ago you would be amazed...driving is believing!

Thanks all.
