Whoa---the car way overdrives the 17" Dunlop M3's. You can't corner nearly as well as summer stock treads. BE CAREFUL as my car literally slides almost out of control if cornering hard.

Well, they ARE winter tires afterall. The main reason of their existence is to provide traction in snow, not go around corners fast.

I needed something to get me through the winter.

OK, it's a little overkill, but my thought is, at 17.5 lbs, they would make some great "track" wheels for the summer months.
Without the snows, of course.

That's why I'm getting the Michelin A/S tires. I'll have less traction when it snows the 5-10 days a year here in Cincinnati, but my dry traction will be far better. I think people forget that snows will not perform nearly as well in the dry as allseason tires. It just depends on what tradeoffs you want to make.
