I am desperatly trying to find pics of a snap in adapter installed in an 04 - 05 e60. I need to see hos it is done and I am having a horrible time getting ANY dealer to give me the rest of the part numbers needed to do this. I have the snap-in for the T610 phone but there is no way to attach it or plug it into the car. Pics would answer my questin. Not CPT9000 pics.

Thats it! I have the part that the phone goes into. What is it the allows the connection to the car? The part that appears to have another botton on it. I am assuming that it is that part the has the wiring for the car connection. This is horrible....I can see the part but I cant find out the number so I can order it. :bashwall:

OK, Ice, since you have one of the SE snap-in adapters installed, you should know the answer to this question:

Is the snap-in actually connected to the car? Did the cable come with the snap-in? Does the phone charge while in the cradle? Where to find the cable?

Sorry guys, not my car.

BUT:
it is somebody from our forum. I downloaded it from our forum a while ago, and I can't remember who posted it.

I have the BMW phone pro in my car.

Now they just need one for the RAZR.

Of course.... there will never be one for it. The RAZR is not designed for use with a cradle of any kind. It only has a small USB style plug input on the side.

Oh well.

man it would be sweet to have a adapter like that pic.

Anyone??!!?? Whoever posted this pic is the key. I really want to find this part. Ice man did not post. This is not his car. If you have ANY snap-in for a 2004 or 2005 I suspect the frame will be the same part number. If you have a snap-in and not for the CPT 9000 take a look at it and see what the frame looks like.

THANKS

Exclamation

My dealer called me today after I sent him Iceman's pic. He says that he was able to find the part number for a 2005. He was told by BMW that it will work for an 04 but was not listed because of the BT limitations to 03/2004 builds and on. OK?? Anyway it is on backorder and will take about two weeks to get in. I am going to post all information including part numbers and step-by-step instuctions with a full set of pictures in the DIY. As soon as I have part numbers I will start the DIY and then post pics after the parts arrive.

Try www.realoem.com/bmw. I remember seeing a part for T610 snap-in part but wirings are separate.
