Welcome Duckman to the best BMW forum I personally don't think smoked sun/wind deflector accessory adds to an already classy car..IMHO

I have never had a car with a moonroof so that's why I asked the question. Thanks for the feedback. It's official now, no plastic deflector for me. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. And since the only real MAN on the forum (Iceman) chose not to have a rear spoiler on his car, I think I will dispense with the idea of getting one for my dream car. Plus it saves a few bucks for really important items like NAV and HUD.

DUCKMAN:
Welcome to the forum. I agree with the masses, no deflector and I am not a fan of the spoiler. The e60 trunk/boot has a small lip that looks very clean, I want to keep it that way. IMHO

I had a 320is with a moonroof wind deflector. It worked fine. I was the second owner so I don't know if it was a dealer installed option or not. I don't think it's necessary though.

What about duckMAN....fish or fowl or female or?

Welcome to the forums!

I like looking at cars that have some exterior mods, but I don't want to do it on my car.
I just mod the inside, what you can't see from the outside.
But that's just me, and it has to do with my neighbourhood.
I like the outside like it is...

Duckman was a adult cartoon character played by Jason Alexander on the USA network. He was billed as a private dick (slang for detective) who just happened to be a duck with a pig named Cornfed as his much smarter sidekick. It was a breakthough cartoon and since my last name is Duck, I decided that I should take on that as my nickname. Call me a 51-year old male adolescent who wants to own a car that costs more than I make in a year.
