I am at $515 befor etax, getting installed on Thrusday - is this a good price?

That sounds right, mine was $535 or so. I was charged 2 hrs labor, $350 for the unit, with the rest being misc. brackets and screws. I recall seeing somewhere that the price of the modual had gone up $100 or so, but maybe since your car is a 2004, your getting the older modual like I have in my 2004.

I am having it installed right now in my 05 530i....they quoted me $495 for the module plus $50 for brackets. Add $260 for labor....even with my BMWCCA discount, I am at like $790!
Are they ripping me off, or what?!

Im in New Jersey and thinking of buying the module from Paul MIller Bmw. They have a 25% discount that would make the module $382.50. Thats $510 minus $127.50 for the 25% off. They want 2 hours to put it in and that would be about $240. Thats put it over $650 with tax!!
