I think the module is already there in your door. You just need the mirrors with the puddle lights. Maybe another member can confirm.

Depending on the age of your car you may or may not have the door module. Even if you don't you can add the LEDs under the mirror. You need to buy atleast two parts per side to get the LEDs and then you can follow my thread http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=65525 on powering it up.

Assuming you don't already have electric folding mirrors, you would need to first get hold of those.......if you really are going to the trouble of changing mirrors, and want puddle lights, may as well go for the M5 mirrors.

Then you need to fit the mirrors.......there are plenty of guides on this forum on how to do this.

You also need to fit a new switch panel that has the electric folding switch..........unless you want to wait for Bruce to develop his Miranda Retrofit solution.

Once you've fitted all of these, you then need to find someone to code up the car to activate the electric folding function (not a BMW dealer, as they will deny it can be done !).........Not sure where you are but B&W chiptune are based in West London, and Sanspeed are in South East London......there must be others, but these are local to me.
Make sure you code up the key as well to fold[/un] on lock[/un].

B&W Chiptune charged me 2 hours labour, which came to ?90.
Ask around on these forums on someone in your local area who can program it for you.
