I like the CSL on the M3, but I think it looks a bit off on the E60. Sounds like it's just me

we carry the trunk in cf. it can always be painted as well

Sorry to revive an old thread, but what is the current pricing of this item?

That same seller on ebay now has the E60 bootlid @ $546 or best offer.

Any idea if the Seibon, VIS have a different contour shape as the Ericsson? The Ericsson shape seems to follow the E60 body lines better and the lip is not as pronounced/protruding into the air.

i have the seibon oem trunk, it fits like oem after some serious adjustments, about five hours worth of them lol

nah my shop did it for me, it needed sanding and prepping and adjusting

took a long ass time, i watched a few movies while they did it

Hi, I just got my VIS CSL Trunk. Just before I go a head to install the truck. How did you resolve the problem, with the trunk spring opening the CSL (much lighter) trunk to quickly.
Was it just a case of adjusting the spring or is their more involved work??

All you have to do is adjust the trunk springs....BUT it will still fling open. I would never open the trunk without your hand there to guide it open.

i had them remove the springs, it still pops open but i have to lift it which works fine because its so much lighter

I was SERIOUSLY considering getting this trunk.. but I'm afraid it'll look ricer..
