My Ride: 530iA Silver Grey , black interior. Premium Package, Navigation System, Head-up Display, Radio Satellite, Adaptive Xenon Headlights. AC Schnitzer Front Lip, H&R springs, Rear red reflector, All season Floor mat,
If you started to mod your car, i would vote to debadge your car (unless you have an M). Some people just care how your car looks.. and not the engine size.

de-badge if you don't like it put new ones back on...a great mod to try in that you can easily change back...take them off...live with it...decide for yourself...

My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.
yea, u should take them badges off... I took mine off and it looks much cleaner in my opinion... and I'm not trying to conceal that my car isn't a 545i

Debadge.
I allways debadge.
If I have a badge on my car it would be the smallest possible, no matter what engine it really is. So if I ever put a badge on my 545i it'll be a 520i badge.

For me, debadging looks the cleanest ... if you still want others to number your badge number, try getting it as part of your license plate number like I was able to do ...

I would leave it on. My dealer debadged mine even though I never asked for it. He is now supplying a new one to be fitted next week.

Maybe I'm cynical but if I see a debadged car over here in the UK I simply assume it's someone trying to hide the fact that they bought a low-end car ...
Keep the badge, it's a fine car and the rest of us want to know what you're driving so we can talk about with you if we ever meet you
