Hey everyone, my name's John and I just joined the forum. I gave up my '03 CLK55 AMG for a roomier '05 545i sport 6-speed. Drove the BMW and it felt like a BMW. Loved it and traded it immediately. I painted the front kidney grills black, tinted the windows 35% all around expect for rear window which was 20%. I have a fullt set of ACS front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler, roof spoiler, and trunk spoiler on its way. Tires are brand new so I am using it up until

Now back to topic

How many people debadged their cars? I used to have an Evolution VIII and I debadged the whole thing since I really did not like Mitsubishi but loved the evo. Now my BMW is used so I am afraid it will leave a slight 545i on the trunk. What do you guys think? And I am not sure if I really should debadge it. Give me some feedback. Thanks.

Be proud of the 545i badge. Leave it alone or someone will think you are posing!

+1 and true, but a number of members have debadged their cars. some have debadged and put up another badge to replace it. it all comes down to personal preference really

debadging has actually crossed my mind a couple times lately as well for some reason.

My 06 520d came debadged (never has asked for it...). Maybe is BMW not proud of their 4 cylinders diesel ? Just wandering if others here also had their car debadged although not asked for....

leave the blue/white, take off the chrome numbers. those disrupt the lines.

or de-interiorize the car:

YES I agree, its down to preference, i bought my car new, and when placing the factory order, i specifically requested that it HAVE NO Model inscription.

I like the back to be totally clear, also speaking of which i might stick my clear clusters back in after the Eisenamann tips are done.

I'd say not to Amit. Think your car looks clean as is. The clear clusters just scream boy racer/chav to me
