Good morning guys!
I have sport suspension + Dynamic Drive Control (Active Roll etc. named is USA)
I have to replace rear shock absorber and I am considering to don't get BMW parts .
So what should I get ?
I know many solutions are not suitable for sport suspension/DDC .
I would like to correct the shock at 06.11 (of the 545i obviously, the grey E60 in this video) .
Which is your experience ?
What could I buy for my 5 ?
Something adjustable ? Model and brand ?
Your opinion pls!
Thanks

I have Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, you can adjust the height and ride quality from comfort to aggressive. After installing these puppies in my opinion i thought it was better with comfort than my previous setup of H&R sport springs and stock sport shocks.

And compared to the stock situation ? Which set up did you have from factory, sport suspension+ddc/ars ?

Do you mean PSS, if so the difference is PSS is only height adjustments and PSS9 is height and stiffness adjustments.
They are cheaper indeed.
The dealer just suggested Msport suspension retrofit:

Is it suitable for my car in your opinion ?
Reading "msport" sounds more... OEM.
But likely they won't be adjustable as bilstein (?)

Try KW V2 coilovers...their height + stiffness adjustable too...i've been using them for more than a year now and their still great...
my car came with msport suspensions, but i didn't like the height of it...

Excuse me guys, but I heard the OEM absorber should be adjustable too. Is it right?
I could be satisfied with my sport suspension a little stiffer . At the rear, the front ones are ok for my taste .
Do you know if it is doable ?
