Damn! These wheel pics made me cringe. But yes, these are cast not forged.

Even forged rims can bend or crack. What happens if one of your wheels gets damaged? Since the componay is lo longer in business you would be SOL if you ever needed a new one.

can't argue that, but at the price i'm giving it to him for it would have to be a calculated decision

VERY hard to do that in the first place though

true forged wheels are basically impossible to break under normal conditions

any time you buy anything used there are risk. I don't know the price so its hard to weigh the risk vs. the reward. when it comes down to it, you are the one buying them. so go with your natural instinct.
